Design Statement:
We wanted this world to be really focused upon the family feud. We brought forth the fiery and passionate family of the Capulets with rich reds, oranges, and yellows focusing on their burning sun like nature. The Montagues were then grounded with more cool colors of green, blue, and purple to mimic the strength on water. Overall it was to create movements of a sun setting upon water in a more ambiguous world that would focus a lot on the shakespearean text and the actors interpretation of it. We wanted to fractionalized the beautiful image of the sun setting on the water with the family destructive feud.
